Sorry about the short post…it was a great, long day.

Here are some photos from Michael Brock’s collection.  He allowed me to use them without his copyright…just remember

This is back at the Gregan’s Castle Hotel in Ballyvaughan on June 8th…the 75th.

Some from the Lahinch surfing beach day…still my birthday.

This from their climb of Croagh Patrick, the sacred mountain, outside of Westport, Co. Mayo.
Clew Bay, Westport, has 365 islands.
It’s amazing, I know, but Flat Chip made it to stand by our niece, Brook Oliver Fritz’s state championship trophy for her Radnor Girl’s Lacrosse team….way to go, Brooke!

And, remember back to my birthday, we went on Bill O’Brien’s ferry boat to see the Cliffs of Moher from the sea?  He was thrilled to be part of the Flat Chip holiday.  And, the guy who played the squeeze-box on our climb up the footpath to the top of the Cliffs was equally as happy.  I offered him my autograph, but he went back to the music instead.

Photos from Nancy’s birthday hike up to the top of the Slieve League sea cliffs.  A bit of Irish wind off the Atlantic.  Check her ear muffs and my new Irish wool cap.

Muckross Head was out on the Atlantic and in Carrick, we visited with a weaver and bought some goods.  Amazing sea cliffs.  Brock is taking a photo of the ladies trying on some woolen wares.

On Nancy’s birthday eve, we had dinner at the Lough Eske Castle…down the road from our hotel at Harvey’s Point on the same lake.

Here’s Mike on Muckross Head today…saying hello.  He feels really at home in wild places like this.DSC_3986

Tomorrow, we start on part of the Donegal search for my relatives.  Remember, I stopped by my parents grave on the left and my great-grandparents graves (unmarked, on the right) to see if I could have a photo where my great-grandmother’s family lived in Donegal.
