“Meet the Shannon plane” day. But, McNamara’s first.

We had a full day with the McNamara’s in and around Tullamore.

IMG_1104 Here we are at the house with Tom and Treas.

They own and operate the Coffee Club in town…Tom is a cafe cashier extraordinaire. IMG_1018

The Tullamore Dew whiskey is the town’s most famous product  so, we toured to see how they “Do the Dew”.

We should have taken photos of the Irish Stew dinner…brilliant, as they say. And delicious.

Kinnity Castle (just down the 4-2-1 from their house) served up an afternoon glass of Guinness.

More later as we checkin at Gregan’s Castle Hotel, near Ballyvaughan; then head out with a guide on The Burren and into the village for dinner…beat the jet lag?  Maybe.

  • What a wonderful trip and beautiful lady you are traveling with. I bet an afternoon Guinness was brilliant – as they say.
