2016 06 02 Normandy trip map of Seine near Paris

Here’s the route for just the first day (June 4)…it takes all night to get out of the Paris area – home to 12 million in the metropolitan area…to dock at Vernon.  Lots of suburbs and many parks.

We are still studying our maps and info to see how to incorporate the many suggestions you have made.  We hang with some serious travelers…many of you have suggestions about awesome places to drink…what a surprise.

We are just beginning…sitting in the Philadelphia Airport, ready for the overnight flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.  Wondering whether I can get the NBA finals first game on the TV at my seat.  Nancy cares more about getting to sleep early.  Bonsoir.

  • Have a great time. Hope the flooding does not affect your trip through Paris.

    • Peg…since we are on a cruise, we are hoping that we can see more, due to being higher. How’s that for optimism?
