U. of Colorado Homecoming football or Eli’s soccer match…which one did we favor?

We saw the crescent moon from our hotel window.  Peace in the Valley…we can see the Flatiron Range.

Dinner Friday night was preceded by the Pearl Street Stampede…the entire marching band (and we think that Ralphie, the Buffalo was there, too) parading to a pep rally just a block from our delicious Sky-picked dinner place – Pizzeria Locale.

The cheerleaders were first to stir up the crowd with pulchritude.

then, the really loud drummers marched by. I have a video, but don't think it will upload for this.

Saturday was a breakfast-from-room-service and let-the-tired-Roachs-sleep-in morning.  The girl from room service said her colleagues worked until 4AM shutting down that lobby party here last night.

Eli is playing for a 17-and-under soccer  team (she’s 15 and runs like the wind) today and has to be there at 11 or so.  We will walk the sidelines and take some photos.  Mr. Brock and Amy are coming tomorrow (up from their Tim-visit in Gunnison) and he will take the professional photos then.
