Grandkids in Boulder today

It began when we planned a trip to Napa on October 19, 2016.  First, Mike called and said that Eli was playing with the girls soccer team in Denver this weekend.  (There aren’t enough teams in Steamboat Springs).

Then, Amy said that Drew was going to take a tour of the University of Colorado at Boulder on Friday the 16th.

That’s like a gift for us.   Here’s Drew with his friend, the freshman who was on the lacrosse team at Conestoga with him last year, and Amy, the Mom.

And, Eli, snuggling with her Nana on the famous mattress at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder.

It’s a huge weekend here…traffic and sold out restaurants.

The Roachs gathered outside the loud lobby, full of dancers and a 5 piece Rock ‘n Roll band.

  • Love the pictures and the post – sounds like you’re having a great time. Say hello to all for me, too! Love, Christy

    • OK, Miss Viglione…I am trying to follow you on your trip and cannot find the blog. Relax and enjoy your time and your family. But, do try to entice us to follow you. Your loving friends……Chip & Nancy

  • Hey, Queenie…your mind is a beautiful thing, but it’s just that the mattresses are one of Mike Roach’s favorites. Maybe that does mean like what your mind was thinking.
