Palos Verdes, CA…no humidity and a chill in the air. LA.

This peninsula surrounded by the Pacific above Long Beach has small mountains, Oceanside bluffs, desert like landscape and this huge resort. …Terranea.  The Saturday afternoon wedding of Katie & Joaquin should have the sunny skies and mid-70’s for which this area is so famous.

Last night – our first night – we had the pleasure of welcoming our high school chums, Bob & Marilyn Cavanaugh, to dinner at the Mar’sel Restaurant in the resort.  If Cindy Roach was here, we would insert her group photo here from the patio….but, we forgot.

So, here’s the view and the lovely Amy.

We needed down jackets by the end of our Oceanside dinner.

But, this morning, we had the fire pit going and coffee brewing at 6AM….it was 9AM eastern time.

Lunch with Brock’s Uncle Bob and a family cocktail party at our Bungalow are our Saturday agenda.

Breakfasts on Saturday were like dinners…here’s a photo of “Italian Eggs”.  We found Bill Oliver and made him our fifth at the table overlooking the sea at Catalina’s Kitchen.

    • Only subscribers like you, Miss Blair, are following this trip. Gary only dips in once in a while and hardly ever has those family memories, which seem imbedded in your psyche. Viva, CA…the sun came out at 11, as predicted by the locals.
