More views of Italy

we are drawn back to Italy…especially to the two regions of Tuscany and Umbria. So, every day trip we have taken and every hike, has views of places familiar, yet unlike we find in the U.S. places we love.

the giant dandelion pod is framed by the Cortona valley.

this Ginestre bush reminds of Scottish Broom amd blooms in the spring here as does our Forsythia.

the Cypress trees are so tall and the flattop pines so distinctive, since they grow on the ridges of the hills.

These views we see each day here at Villa Il Trebbio.

this simple belfry is on the Ossaia Chiesa: we will walk into this tiny town to have pizza tonight.
