Catch-up on Monday and the Tuesday marathon tour day

DSC_0417Apologies for not posting today.  It was Lover’s Day on the Danube.

All of the four couples traveling together had a wonderful day with each other, but it was a long day and we felt like we were made of marble (like the statues above) when we reached the boat at 5PM after leaving at 8AM.

Now the computer isn’t responding with due speed, so we are going to say good-night and work on this tomorrow.

Reports will follow on towns named Durnstein and Melk (both in Austria) from Monday as well as a long trip off the river to Cesky Krumlov (in the Czech Republic) today.

Sunny and 70 weather is making us smile and we got a bit of dancing tonight to get some rhythm into this trip.

The Avalon Illumination is docked in Germany today and tonight at Passau in Bavaria.  Lots of beer on the menu tomorrow.

DSC_0381Sometimes you feel as if these trips are a Ferris Wheel of learning.  Not sure of where we are going, but it sure is fun going around the world with each other.

Auf Weidersehen.
